Microbex SE

MicrobeX SE is a broad spectrum quaternary ammonium disinfectant solution that effectively acts against disease-causing microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi). It can be used as an immersion solution for instrument disinfection or a surface disinfectant. It is designed to have a low level of alcohol content that enables the solution to evaporate slowly thus prolonging its anti-microbial action. It acts upon the microorganisms within the first 3-5 minutes of contact and will persist for up to 3 hours.

MicrobeX SE has been formulated to be non-staining so as not to discolor surfaces. It is pleasantly scented as an indicator of its use and application.

Instructions for Use:

• Instrument Disinfection through Immersion:

1. Pre-clean instrument.

2. Dilute 1mL of MicrobeX SE with 16mL distilled water.

3. Immerse instrument for at least 1 hour.

4. Rinse with distilled water prior to sterilization.

• Surface Disinfection:

1. Pre-clean surface.

2. Dilute 1mL of MicrobeX SE with 50mL distilled water.

3. Spray or wipe (with a dirt-free material) on to the surface.

4. Let dry on surface.
